Our Why
SiSTEM Collective is a powerful community dedicated to uplifting and empowering Black and Latinx women in engineering and technical roles. Our mission is to create a more inclusive and diverse tech industry by building a network of support, mentorship, and shared knowledge. At SiSTEM, we recognize that being “the only one” in the room can be isolating. That’s why we’re committed to providing a space where women can connect, recharge, and thrive together.

Maya Miller
Maya is a seasoned Software Engineer, tech leader, podcast host, and content creator. With a successful career at top FAANG companies, she is dedicated to creating spaces for women to connect, grow, and break barriers in the tech industry. Through her work, she amplifies underrepresented voices and inspires the next generation of women leaders
Co-Founder
Chloe Garden
Chloe is a Software Engineer living and working in NYC for the last 2 years. From an early age, she recognized and began to lean into her aptitude for solving problems. With the help of parents, professors, and mentors, she was able to grow it into a career in tech. In her free time, she loves painting, singing, and exploring NYC!
